Best Piping Monents: 1977 performing at the CNE stadium for what was considered perhaps the most prestigious pipe band contest in the world - the Intercontinental Pipe Band Championships. This contest is considered by many to be the true World Championship because of the excellent representation from both Scotland and North America. On this particular occasion the Grade I competition included 24 pipe bands, the top 15 bands from the British Isles and the best North American Pipe Bands. Triumph Street placed 4th in the world, first in North America and Triumph Street received the Cutty Sark award as the best Canadian Pipe Band.
