BAND MEMBERSHIP

The Band is made up of men and women from various backgrounds. You do not have to be a police officer to qualify for membership. In fact 60% of our members have never been employed as such. With a strength of around 50 members an applicant should have a good combination of attitude and personality, and bear in mind that they represent the Delta Police Department.

We are a non-competing band and generally practice once a week on Thursday nights, at 7:30 PM, at Sacred Heart School, 3900 Arthur Drive in Ladner.

If you are looking to join as a piper or drummer steps are taken to evaluate your playing ability. Anyone is welcome to attend band practices.
