Year Joined: 1995

Previous Bands: I began piping as an adult in early 80’s and joined the Seaforth Association Pipes and Drums. When the Seaforth Association Band stood down, I took a 10 year hiatus from band membership but I did some solo piping at “Wakes Weddings and Other Things” (with apologies to John Allen Cameron ). I then joined the Delta Police Pipe Band and have enjoyed my experiences and friendships including the trips to tattoos etc that we have undertaken.

Favorite Piping Moment: Playing for the Richmond Tall Ships in 2002. On that particular day, I piped the “Commodore” from his landing on the Beach at Steveston to the podium with “Heart of Oak”. The audience was conservatively estimated at 250,000 people! Some Audience!
