Delta Police Pipe Band - British Columbia, Canada

The Delta Police Pipe Band honours one (or more) of its own each year with the "Pipe Major’s Award for Outstanding Contribution" which is presented at the annual Burns Dinner in January of each year. This award is given to those who have displayed an "above and beyond" dedication, work ethic and volunteerism to the band during the previous year. The recipients have their names inscribed on the large plaque which they can hold for a year and also receive a smaller one which they can keep as a lasting memento.
