Delta Police Pipe Band

The uniform is complemented by the Ancient Smith Tartan, worn in honour of the Band's cofounder, the late Chief Constable M.W.SMITH

The Delta Police Pipe Band was formed in 1971 by members of the Delta Police Department. Since the Band's inception, it has grown to its present strength of 33 pipers and 19 drummers. The Band is currently under the direction of Pipe Major Colin Abel and Drum Major Alan Brown.
